Taco Bell

It’s all about God’s presence.

When we serve someone in a practical way we meet a pressing need in their life. As we show them generosity, we get to bring them the very presence of God. Your practical expression opens the book so God can write on their heart.

#1-Taco Bell drive-thru pay off.

This is a great approach at any fast food window for a bit of outreach, but Taco Bell is especially good because you can eat like royalty for a couple of bucks.

Ask the person at the window the following —

“So what’s the price of the order of the car behind me? I want to pay it if I can.”

“Why?”

“I think this is what Jesus would do if he were driving through.”

I’ve done this time and again and have seen some amazing resulting stories.

One lady began to follow Jesus because someone in front of her at the Taco Bell drive-through bought her and her son a taco. It was the end of the month and they were down to absolutely zero money. Of all nights it was Christmas. The mom looked for enough change in the couch cushions to get each of them a Christmas Eve taco. Sadly, she only had enough for one. As she held her couple of quarters and a few pennies, the person in front of her paid for the meal. Talk about timing. She wrote to me later that this was their greatest Christmas ever because God paid for it.
