The greatest enjoyment a human can experience is the leading of another person into a relationship with God. To do this on a regular basis is the greatest fulfillment imaginable.
Why do we miss out on the enjoyment of doing outreach? We believe misconceived ideas about it. We talk ourselves into thinking it’s about producing a gigantic effort – something we can’t produce. Nothing could be further from the truth! Jesus said that those who believe in him would see rivers of living water proceed from them. It’s impossible to create a flow of water like that. He produces all of that.

Those we come in contact with are looking for God and are simply thirsty. They will be affected by the natural outflow of life from us.
The greatest advice I can offer you is this: stop trying to serve God! Cease your effort. Hebrews offers us sage counsel along these lines –

“Make every effort to enter that rest” Heb. 4:11, NIV.

In other words, just relax. Allow him to flow from you naturally. He made you to be yourself—the “you” he made you to be in him. As you practice being whom he made you to be you will experience the greatest joy in outreach.
