#10.5-  Hold the door for others – elevator, door front. Do this even if you’re in a hurry. It’ll calm you down and will soothe your soul going into the next appointment.

Basic outreach etiquette:

Tell them why you are doing this.

“We are just a bunch of Christians out doing community service projects around town.”

“We’re just showing a little bit of God’s love in a practical way.”

“We think this is the sort of thing Jesus’d be doing if he were walking around town today.”

Give them information about the church(es) you are connecting to people.

“We are from _____ Church. We are out serving folks by doing various projects.”

Offer to pray as you feel led and as seems appropriate.

“May I pray a blessing upon your life? I’ll keep it to ten seconds or less!”

Keep it to ten seconds and you’ll get a better response!
