There is nothing more powerful on earth than an idea that is carried out over the long haul. Our great shortcoming is that we lack the emotional fortitude to tease ideas out for the long haul. We tend to convince ourselves that we are boring others with our ongoing talk on a given topic. In reality, we are unfocused, bratty or we are playing to the applause of the crowd. Just at about the time that we are absolutely, insanely bored with the 17th iteration of the topic and are looking to blow our brains out in frustration…it is then that the crowd begins to get what we have been saying all along. To carry out an idea rightly requires humility more than intelligence. Fortitude is more than forcefulness.
How do you tell a persistent good idea from a persistent God idea?
Many people may share a persistent good idea. How many times have you not acted on a good idea only to see someone else has made it a reality? A persistent God idea has been planted deep within you for you and only you. It will become a reality only if you act.
